Gordon Truelove I purchased the lathe sleeve to be used as a sleeve between a electric motor and a herb slicing machine. The sleeve is suitable for this application. However, the M8 thread on the knurled end has not been tapped through and the grub screw will not engage and lock the 10 mm shaft. My M8 HSS taps will not cut the hardened steel of the sleeve, so I am awaiting the arrival of a tungsen carbide tap. Hope it will do the job.
