I believe this is the best mechanical edge finder on the market today. Queensland Precision Machining uses this item in our machine shop. 

DO NOT USE FOR Z AXIS !!

* While this item is high quality made in Japan, the accuracy is dependent on the user as indication of the edge is visual. The edge finder should be thoroughly cleaned of any rust preventive film before use. Do not exceed 600 Rpm while this tool is in the spindle.
